- are of a high quality
- do not pose a threat to people, domestic or native animals, crops, plants, things or the environment
- will not pose any unacceptable risk to trade with other nations, and
- continue to work effectively
It further defines 'serious' 'minor' and 'urgent'. Examples of serious are "significant environmental damage,...and water quality issues", "farm, domestic and native animal deaths" and "significant effects in a human".
Guidelines for reporting are provided in this document. In situations where human health impacts may be affected by pesticide exposure it is important to discuss this with your doctor. If clinical symptoms continue to be of concern seek advice from environmental and clinical toxicologists.
